Q.     What does it cost to attend Camp Cadet?
        a.    Camp Cadet is completely free for cadet and their families. 
Q.     How are you able to provide a free camp?   
        a.    Our program is funded entirely by private donations and fundraising.
Q.     Where is the camp cadet located?
        a.    Our program is held at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA. DIRECTIONS
Q.   How do I sign my child up for camp cadet?
        a.    You can pick up the application at your local school or at the State Police Barracks in Ebensburg, download 
and print the application f from our website, or complete the online application, also on our website. 
            (Selection to attend is based on various factors 
and is at the discretion of the Camp Director)
Q.     When will my child know if they’ve been accepted into the program?
        a.    After the application period ends, applicants will be scheduled for an oral interview at the

            State Police Barracks in Ebensburg.  Selection of cadets will be made after all interviews have been
           
completed and you will be notified if you were accepted shortly thereafter.
Q.    Where will my child sleep during camp cadet?
        a.    Mount Aloysius College has provided their newest, most state-of-the-art, dormitories to house cadets.
 
Q.     Can my child attend camp cadet more than once?
        a.    Sorry, no.  In an effort to provide this experience to a larger number of youth, cadets are allowed to

            attend only once.

Q.     Will you make exceptions to the age requirements?
        a.    Sorry, No.  To be eligible, your child must be 12 and not yet 16 by the first day of camp.
Q.     My child takes daily medication, how do you handle that?
        a.    Our staff includes nurses and other emergency medical personnel who will administer

            medications in accordance with your doctor’s orders.

       a.    Contact any State Police facility in your county, or go to www.psp.state.pa.us
