*** THE CAMP CADET PROGRAM IS NOT A “BOOT CAMP” AND IS NOT A SOLUTION FOR DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS WITHIN YOUR HOME OR SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT***
Camp Cadet is FREE OF CHARGE for Cadets and their Parents. The only costs that you may accrue, are for items that the cadets will be required to bring with them to camp. Check the "items to bring" list to see items that will be required.
Criteria: All youth ages 12-15 who reside WITHIN Cambria County.
Must be 12 by the start of camp and can’t turn 16 prior to or during camp.
Camp is for all youth who have an interest in police work or a related area,
but not exclusive of other areas of interest.
All youth who are willing to participate in a variety of physical fitness activities
as well as learn and abide by military discipline.
Applicants that have any negative contact
with law enforcement will not be accepted.
Once at camp; hazing, lying, cheating or stealing will not be tolerated and the
appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the PA Crimes Code.
You may only attend Cambria County Camp Cadet one time,
unless it is decided on a yearly basis to accept Senior Cadets.
